The ICFPA is launching the second edition of the Blue Sky Young Researchers and Innovation Award, a global award that aims to stimulate interest among young researchers carrying out projects in a wide range of activities which are relevant to forest-based science, including product and process improvements as well as other innovations throughout the value chain. The first edition was awarded at the 2017 CEO Roundtable. The theme of this year’s award is “Forest-based products and services: how disruptive technologies are revolutionizing the future.” The Call for Papers has been launched so regions can initiate their local processes. The award will be presented at the 2019 CEO Roundtable in Canada. We hope to see candidates from a variety of regions.
